he DS230-24DC series surge protectors are designed to shield equipment connected to DC power supplies from transient overvoltages caused by lightning. These compact devices use voltage-varistors tailored to the network (ranging from 12 to 350 VDC). The DS230S-24DC model includes varistors with integrated thermal disconnectors and associated indicators for monitoring their potential end of life. Optional versions with remote signaling are also available (DS230S-24DC). The plug-in module allows for quick and easy maintenance in case of failure (network disconnection). The DS230-24DC is DIN rail-mounted and connects in parallel to the network for protection.
